Had a real busy weekend:
Sat – attended Little Matchgal’s wedding. Congrats gal!! We’re all very happy for you. Her husband and her look really good together. Super compatible. 🙂
Sun – overslept and missed church. Throat infection flared up again (for the 3rd weekend since CNY) and had fever. Took med, felt better, and hung out with “relatively new friends”. Was fun. I like the company.
Mon – crappy start to the day. Lymph nodes swollen ‘cos of the throat infection. Doc said it was a good thing ‘cos it’s a sign that my body’s fighting the infection. Right… Got more meds from the doc and went back to work. Much to be done. Found out that Banker has tendered his resignation. Sigh. This is not good… i’ll be taking over all the new deals that were originally under his portfolio. But then again… career wise… maybe it’s not a bad thing since expanded jobscope = more chances to perform = more opportunities to shine?
Am really looking forward to the Malacca trip this weekend. Now i just need to convince my parents that it’s as fantastic as i think it’ll be…
