Was awashed with regret when I heard of your passing today.
I guess I always thought there would be a “later time” when we would catch up and having met DO recently after 10 odd years, I really thought we would all arrange something this year.
I was glad to hear that you recovered from depression but alarmed to find out you had brain tumour, then relieved that it was operable but sad that you were addicted to alcohol.
Ultimately, I was glad you found love a second time and life seemed to be getting back on track when this tragedy happened.
Sorry I was not a better friend.
When I think back to our H11 days, life was simple because the days were homogenous. Back then, I never imagined life may unfold in a sad sad way for some of us.
I will pray for your wife that she will be conforted. I will always remember you on 3 Nov.
