I got recognised in public again!! Was heading for lunch with Bubbs today when this gal who walked past us suddenly said, “Hi UptownGal!”. I looked at her and my mind drew a blank. Too embarrassed to admit that i had NO IDEA who she was, i gave this “oh i didn’t see u” expression and called out chirpyly, “Oh, hi!!”. Then i gave a bright smile & walked away.
The whole time, i was like shit shit shit… who the heck is she? Still can’t place her man. I’m sure she’s not from my previous companies, not from my hall nor NTU Biz School… which means she’s… probably… from salsa? Someone’s gf? No idea man. Sheesh. This is NOT GOOD. Sigh.
I think i should keep a lower profile from now on.
