Damnit! My mom and my colleagues were evacuated from their respective office buildings, thanks to the tremors felt from the earthquake that hit Sumatra. In fact, my mom’s having a kopi break at Lau Pa Sat as i type. In her own words, “We were not told to go back. So we come Lau Pa Sat lor. Lau Pa Sat safest what. Low rise, very stable. So we having drinks here lor…”
I missed all the action ‘cos i was sleeping in my bedroom, which is on a similar “very safe” 3rd floor of my house. Oh well… i guess i can go make my own tea too…
I felt a tremor too! but we weren’t evacuated…. in fact we just continued on with our meeting like nothing happened. sigh.
Hehe… i need to check with Zounds if any tremors were felt at my area lah… ‘cos i was sleeping when it happened man. Even got tremor, i wouldn’t know lor. Hahahahahaha.
