This is a pretty fair review of the N8 – http://is.gd/hWzKC though i need to add that the N8 supports handwriting input for Chinese. It’s a rather cool feature which has not been mentioned in any reviews I’ve read so far, prob cos none of the reviewers write Chinese!

It’s me again. ๐ I was reading up on the internet on N8 issues and just had 1 that would be a huge no no to me. The one where users are claiming the phone just dies and could not be started up or charged.
So just to check: have you had such problems with yours (touch wood) or are there just a lot of free people jumping on the bandwagon to diss Nokia?

hey, not to scare u, but there was once when my husb wanted to key in the Lock Code (mixture of numbers & letters) but the keypad wldn’t switch to letter mode. had to reboot the hp then ok.

Cool! I was undecided betw the silver white or the blue. Ended up getting the silver white cos it looked more white than silver in photos.. unfortunately, it’s actually more silver than whites (i have a penchant for white phones).
I think blue’s a good choice! Definitely more unusual than the silver!!
Oh btw, I read online that Nokia will be releasing major updates to the browser nxt year. The browser on my X6 was a little unstable – it displayed webpages very accurately (looks exactly like on my pc) but if the page is graphics intensive, the browser would close by itself.
So far no such pblm on the N8 browser. It has closed a few times by itself but reopening the page was ok. Not really an issue (since I’ve crashed apps on the ipod Touch too). Haha.
