Got to know a really queer/odd acquaintance recently. He dutifully replies sms-es i send him, and he also sends me sms-es about where to club, party, etc, whenever the weekend draws near. However, we have not managed to meet up the last 2-3 times we had such an sms exchange. Sometimes, his sms-es strike me as odd because of his affectionate choice of words, when we are warm acquaintances or nominal friends at best.
Questioning his intent recently, my conclusion was that stringing people along is probably a hobby of his. Either that or he must have a lot of free sms a month. Think i should go find out what mobile operator & plan he’s on. Hmm…
