A friend mentioned on her blog recently that it’s good to be "unsearchable" on the Internet. Even more important than that, I think critical that people remain "unviewable" on Facebook. I found some ghastly photos of some ladies in my finance dept on Facebook… trust me when I say there were worse photos than these. […]
Sent my mom to collect a Coach bag she bought from the owner of the site https://pursuingbigpapa.wordpress.com and a Kate Spade bag caught her eye. I told her the bag was unusual and striking so it was quite worth the SGD 390 price tag. My mom was a little hesitant ‘cos she was going to […]
Thank goodness for inefficient Philippine postal system else I would be hot soup now! Last year, during the inception of a policy I placed on behalf of my Phlippine office, the values of the properties came up to Php 49 billion. In Mar this year, my Philippine office sent a spreadsheet advising an increase in […]
Hello folks. I’m back from Australia. Have been back for a week now but i spent the past week trying to get back into a normal routine (catching up on emails work, etc) so i haven’t gotten round to posting anything except for some photos on Facebook. I actually took notes of the stuff i […]
Woke up this morning to see Muah Chee bargaining with Patience to try to sneak him into my luggage to go to Australia. Patience told MC that he was just too big to go unnoticed but MC was persistent. But too bad… tried as he did, he couldn’t get himself to fit into my suitcase […]
Just did a typing test. Hehe. Did it twice but my speed was the same – 91 words per minute (though the 2nd time i did the test, i typed 525 characters per minute, versus 517 chars the first time). 91 words Speedtest Try it out! Hehehehehe. 🙂
gul•li•ble adjective easily deceived or cheated Related forms gul•li•bil•i•ty, noun gul•li•bly, adverb I have a friend who is amazingly gullible. Every week she’ll send some mass email about some urban legend or myth, the latest one being hawkers adding plastic items into their frying pans to ensure the fried food retain its crispiness. Everytime she […]
Went to Simei (Eastpoint area) for lunch today. Was surprised to see this Caucasian (angmoh) family having "cai beng" at the same coffeeshop as me. I guess that was an unusual enough sight because after I left the coffeeshop, I saw 3 Chinese girls taking photos with the 2 angmoh kids. I have no idea […]
I’ll be going to Australia for about 2.5 weeks starting 18 Mar. Am happy to be going on a long leave and to a place I’ve never been before… but I’m also worried that it’ll be a bit of a waste of time. I’ll be going to Melbourne, Tasmania and Adelaide and I have no […]
Cirrus (aka Clown) wished me Happy Chinese New Year twice over MSN. The first time, i ignored it because somehow, his seemingly harmless greetings tend to come with a secret agenda. Can’t blame me for my paranoia after the extremely ugly break up we had. I’ve never had an ex-bf harass me before… waiting outside […]
